CHOCOLATE MINT DAY


Held always on February 19th, another tasty holiday, Chocolate Mint Day celebrates any ice cream, sauce, cake that is chocolate mint flavored. This weird flavor is no always enjoyed by everyone. Mint Chocolate is made using mint flavoring, such as peppermint, spearmint, or creme de menthe added to plain chocolate. So if you don't like it just make this day a day of any kind of chocolate. ;)

JULY 1ST July 1st, 2006 is to celebrate Canada Day , Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day, Jokes Day and Build A Scarecrow Day. In this proud day, Canada is celebrating every year the establishment of the federal government and the beginning of Home Rule. Previously known as Dominion Day and Confederation Day , 1st of July has an interesting history. This holiday was established back in 1879 under the name Dominion Day. There is no record of organized ceremonies after this first anniversary, except for the 50th anniversary of Confederation in 1917, at which time the new Centre Block of the Parliament Buildings, under construction, was dedicated as a memorial to the Fathers of Confederation and to the valour of Canadians fighting in the First World War in Europe.
